What is Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)?
GMP is an acronym for good manufacturing processes. It is used internationally to describe a set of principles and procedures which, when followed by manufacturers of therapeutic goods, helps to ensure that the products manufactured will have the required and consistent quality. A basic tenet of GMP is that quality cannot be tested into a batch of product, but must be integrated into each batch of product during all stages of the manufacturing process. These are guidelines established by the Food and Drug Administration to ensure quality products are produced at levels safe for human consumption.
What is a Certificate of Analysis? (CofA)
A Certificate of Analysis lists the test results of physical and chemical attributes, microbial levels and activity.
What is your company pricing structure?
In order to adhere to a fair and accurate price structure, we monitor the daily fluctuation in raw materials costs. When a client places an order, we factor in the cost of each individual raw material ingredient as it stands at that specific date and time, and then prepare a price quote accordingly.
Where are the products tested for microbials?
We have an on-site facility and a microbiologist that manages all microbial testing on our manufactured and R&D products. We also have good relationships with numerous independent microbial labs throughout the United States, and can call on them for assistance as needed.
